High-flow design for the Ranger Raptor 3.0
The Pipercross Ranger Raptor intake replaces the restrictive OEM airbox with a high-flow, twin-filter performance assembly. Developed specifically for the 3.0 EcoBoost V6, this system is engineered to improve airflow, reduce restriction and enhance both throttle response and turbo spool. It uses an enclosed, CAD-designed heat-shield to deliver a cold-air feed even under heavy load.
Direct-fit installation
The PK452 kit installs using OE mounting points and requires no cutting or permanent modification. All clamps, brackets, hardware and silicone hoses are supplied. Whether fitted at home or in the workshop, the system offers a clean and straightforward installation.
Twin high-flow Pipercross filters
Pipercross use two large conical foam filters, giving a significant increase in filtration surface area. During testing, this design produced a 192% reduction in airflow restriction compared to the factory airbox. This helps the turbocharger breathe more freely, especially at higher RPM or under towing and off-road load conditions.
Engineered for real-world performance
The enclosed heat-shield captures fresh air from the OEM feed while blocking engine-bay heat. The mandrel-bent aluminium intake tube is powder-coated for durability and includes CNC-machined bosses for perfect sensor alignment.
