Upgrade your braking with the Focus ST 225 EBC Bluestuff Rear Brake Pads – performance compound. These UK-made pads deliver stronger braking, low dust and excellent durability for fast-road and trackday driving. Bluestuff provides around 30% more friction than standard pads, so your rear axle gains noticeably better control and stability.
The pads are heat-scorched and pre-bedded, which helps them reach peak performance sooner. However, EBC still recommends a careful bedding-in period before any track use. This ensures consistent bite and maximum pad life.
Bluestuff offers a strong cold bite and uses a copper-free aramid fibre base. As a result, the pads create less rotor wear and remain stable at higher temperatures. Many trackday drivers prefer Bluestuff because it often lasts longer than Yellowstuff during repeated heavy braking.
Each pad is shimmed, chamfered and slotted to reduce noise and maintain smooth operation. In addition, Bluestuff pads are ECE R90 approved, so they are fully road legal while still offering track-capable performance.
